Where did you start out in music?
DAZ: I was listening to music in the womb. My mam stuck a lute up herself one day and I just learnt to play it whilst waiting to be born. Then as a teenager my interest in music just started to grow and me and Neal used to play guitar together in his bedroom, and whilst at College formed what became Starscreen with Scott joining on the recommendation of our old drummer. Then we replaced him and got John!
JOHN: My first band we're called invasion!
NEAL: Anal Invasion?
JOHN: NO! We had an Alien for a logo that I drew in Art it was fukin' wicked!
Who plays what in the band?

What can people expect from the show tonight?
NEAL: Blues, Folk...erm...Jokes.....Cokes....Spokes....Pamphlets.....Tunes.....Prunes....Martin Clunes....Sand Dunes and a Cliff Richard Cover
SCOTT: Everything really, tonight we are doing an acoustic show which is completely different. For one we don't have John playing, although that will change in the future. We are a lot more laid back acoustically but still with the vital rock element that (Hopefully) keeps things exciting.
NEAL: We tend not to go in the direction that most acoustic bands go in, where they just sit strumming chords; we like to make it abit more interesting.

What do you listen to on the stereo at home?
JOHN: Chilli Peppers, Oasis, Paul Weller
NEAL: Ian Dury & The blockheads, Hard-Fi, Kasabian

DAZ: Bryan Ferry, U2 & Jeff Buckley
Describe your average day...
DAZ: Get up, Watch Frasier, then watch the chav's on Jeremy Kyle, then I think "Great another 2 hours in bed!" Then go downstairs and have a bowl of Fruit and Fibre, which keeps me regular. Then I need a shit. Then I check Sky sports news, then I think "Great!" and play on Pro Evolution whilst listening to music till I have to go to work or a gig!
SCOTT: Luxury! On a typical week gig day I get up around 6am to go to work, finish about 3pm then depending on where we play I either nip home for a bit or go and pick Neal up around 5ish, we load the stuff in and set off. We then hang around, Neal usually frets about everything, John usually does/says something stupid while me and daz find the nearest IT Box to waste our hard earned cash on....it helps us to relax before the gig. We do the gig, pack up and then once I've dropped everyone off (John lives in Clifton, Neal and daz in Mansfield and I live in Kirkby) it's between 1am and 3am, then it's up at 6am for work......but it's great fun!
What are your favourite hangouts in Nottingham?
JOHN: We don't tend to hang out in Nott’s all that much really
NEAL: The only place we go on a regular basis is Junktion 7 to watch Censored
SCOTT: I spend most of my time in Nott’s in Fopp the CD shop buying endless pointless CD's that I don't really need, but I love buying CD's.... I think I have a problem.

NEAL: Scott's Old Sagging face!

What is coming up for you over the next year?
DAZ: Ooo lots...
