SCOTT: "Gigs like these are very difficult for me, in the small pub/club atmostphere we tend to get the best reaction from the crowd. However I always feel uncomfortable on stage when I can see and hear people around me. I prefer to have lights blinding me so I can't see out in front of me. It's a strange thing really, I love playing live I just don't like playing when I know people are there. It makes no sense but then again very little of what I say or do ever does. Anyway the gig as a whole went ok, we didn't play the best we could have but we've played much worse in the past. Nice venue, but could do with a few more blinding lights & a smoke machine to hide me from the crowd."

Neal:- We were in an upbeat mood before going on stage and felt our attitude was alot better than the night before. This was one of the best gigs we've ever played I really enjoyed it and we actually had a lot of energy on stage for a change. Gathering Storm, Angel, Vanity Baby and Let Go were the pick of the songs on the night. I'd definitely play this venue again.
Sean:- If you were to say that the venue can affect the performance of the band, we would definitely agree after tonights gig. Although it is not a very large venue, when it started filling up the atmosphear made up for any lack in size. Because of this we felt as ease and played a fantastic set. Daz's stage banter was better than it's ever been and we played our songs with energy and character. Thanks must go out to Photobooth for helping us set up and being our support. Apart from losing twice to Daz on the pool table, it was an excellent night.
SCOTT: "For this gig we had a bit of a shake up to the set (new year new setlist). Vanity Baby worked well as an opener but I'm so use to it being in the middle. The new song Girl went quite well, needs abit of work but it's getting there. The Gathering Storm was really the highlight of the night, the crowd seemed to really like it. It wasn't the best we've played overall but it was enjoyable".
DAZ: "Our peformance was good but we could have been better and the crowd seemed very responsive to us. The Gathering Storm went better than i thought it would have. The result was a little disappointing and my view is that the judges behaved in an unprofessional way, and as we were on first they hadn't had that much to drink so by the time the last band were on they were all drunk and ditched the marking system altogether. Anyway, Here's to 2005 the year of the STARSCREEN".

NEAL:- "I can't say i enjoyed this gig, i felt we didn't perform well and made quite alot of mistakes! Scott?(F*ck off Neal - Luv Scott) The venue itself is very nice (if a little Medieval). Usual favourites of ours such as Sweet Return, Pilot and Let Go were very poor on the night, though Vanity Baby, In My Hour and our new song the Gathering Storm saved us from ULTIMATE DOOM!!! I am looking forad to going back there in January to play the BOTB's and I'm hoping that we play alot better, there's no reason why we shouldn't. Lots of hugs and kissies Nealy!"

SCOTT: "We went on first for a change and our mood back stage was very relaxed, we even invented 2 new card games (Alan and Pontefract) and I'm sure that the rules for these two games will be put on the web site at some point. On the whole I think we played well, Pilot kicked of the set very well and I still love Vanity Baby. We even managed to pull through a power failure, which happen halfway through Sweet Return. I think I'll remember this gig as one of the most enjoyable if nothing else."

NEAL: "It was the second time we played the Rose of England and apart from the sound I felt it went alot better than our last visit back in March. Vanity Baby, Sweet Return, The Fire and Angel seem to get stronger the more and more we play them. Also our performance was far better than our gig at The Shed. All in all IT WA RAIT!"
Daz "Despite my initial jitters regarding our song selection i was pleasently surprised how well the songs gelled together. The first two numbers were the pick of the bunch for me and although there wasn't anything particulaly wrong with In my Hour and The Fire it was Angel which got us back on track. I still believe we need that little bit extra if we are to progress further in this competition. (a new song me thinks.)"

Scott: "If I'm honest I wasn't really looking forward to this gig. It's not that I didn't want to play it it was just it seemed so disorganised and off the cuff. However a fairly big crowd did turn out and things ran relatively smoothly. The sound on stage was pretty bad and we are still rusty from our long break. The first two songs were disastrous but once we were warmed up we played pretty well. I loved playing the new song Vanity Baby it has a nice groove to it that even gets me moving (only slightly). All in all a pretty average gig".

Neal - "I felt we were a little rusty leading up to this gig, we had only a few rehearsals before hand and weren't on top form. We were again on last in a BOTB competition, meaning we got to see all the bands we were up against before we went on stage. The set itself was in some ways under prepared, a usual favourite song of ours Sweet Return was a little sloppy at times, though I feel In My Hour and Angel w/ dirty wings got us through on the night. Relieved to say the least."
